What services do you provide?
I specialize in psychiatric medication management for a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, insomnia, PTSD, OCD, and more. All services are delivered through secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth appointments.
What is the difference between psychiatry and therapy?
Psychiatry = Medical + Medication Management
Therapy = Talk Treatment (No Prescriptions)
Psychiatry involves evaluating mental health conditions and using medical treatments, including prescription medications, to help manage symptoms. Therapy (psychotherapy) is talk-based counseling provided by a therapist or psychologist to help you process emotions, develop coping skills, and work through challenges. Many patients benefit from combining both medication and therapy for comprehensive care.
Do you manage mental health linked to physical conditions?
Yes. With a strong background in endocrinology, I take a holistic approach to treatment—especially when mood symptoms may be linked to conditions like diabetes, thyroid disorders, or PMDD. I’ll consider the whole picture when creating your care plan.
How do I schedule an appointment?
Is my information secure?
Absolutely. All sessions are encrypted and fully compliant with HIPAA privacy standards to ensure your confidentiality.
Do I need a referral to see you?
In most cases, a referral is not required. You can reach out directly to request a new patient appointment.
What if I’m already on medication from another provider?
That’s totally fine. We’ll review your current prescriptions and history during your initial evaluation and make any adjustments as needed to ensure you’re getting the best care.
What insurance plans do you accept?
I currently accept a variety of insurance plans including Cigna, Aetna, Capital Blue Cross, Carelon Behavioral Health, Geisinger, Horizon BCBS, Independence Blue Cross, Meritain Health, Quest Behavioral Health, Wellfleet, and others. Please reach out to verify your specific plan.
Do you offer self-pay rates?
Yes. If you are uninsured or prefer not to go through insurance, I offer straightforward, self-pay rates for all services.
What if I miss or need to cancel my appointment?
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a fee, per our cancellation policy.
